How loud is LOUD?

Yeah I left off a whole clip of my Semi 30-06 without hearing protection I could hear anything but a very sharp ringing noise for 2 minutes

I would guess anything over 120 dbs for extend times will give you serious hearing probems when you get older. I would like to see someone sit in a car at a 150 dbs for more then a few seconds without crying or bleeding all over the place.

ive been in a few 150+ db at the *headrest* cars and no bleeding, and no cryin.

But as I said it is the long term that will get you. How long were you listening to it at that volume I find it hard to believe you had no problem with 150+ DB.

no he has been metered...the reaosn i said 151-153 was because he lost DB's...his first score was a 153.4 and his last score was 151.9 he had 3 runs and every run he lost a DB...not sure why but thats how it happened.

that was an IASCA show, IASCA doesn't put the meter at the headrest..... hmmm

theres a difference of 20 dBs from a 22 to a 12 guage? how is that possible? 12 guage seems louder but not over twice as loud..

20db is way more than twice as loud though. It's almost 7 times as loud.

how the f#ck did i get pwned?...he had it metered at the headrest....he had it metered on the window and at the kicks also.

wasn't a MECA show, thats all who does the headrest...

iasca is the dash sealed, thats that.
