That's most of the problem, kicker specs are too small by half, I've also seen them get respectable loud. That said, within its power limits W7 is quite efficient too and I've seen impressive numbers from them.L7s can get loud as hell. I hate how they sound tho. My bro n law went from a l7 in spec box to w7 in spec box and sq change couldnt have been more drastic. Call me crazy, but the w7 was louder too. Not quite fair since it was at 1.5ohm vs 2, but still, the l7 is a little more cone
