How long is too long?

I just wondered as to how long you guys wait on someone to ship your product before going into panic mode. Or how long do you continue to be understanding. Lets say that in 3 days, it will be 6 weeks you've waited on something to be shipped. You paid on a Monday and was told that it would be in your hands the same week, but every week you call it's the same story......The seller is not a douche, but has told you each time you talked to him that he's going to send it and you should expect it that week, but you wait and still nothing. What would be your course of action?

At this point, I really have no use for it being that it's about to get cold, but being that my money is out there, I'd like to have it.

It's not that I think they're not gonna ship it, problem is it is taking too long for them to. I really have no use for what I bought until next year. Had it come even 4 weeks ago it would have been ok. By this time next year, I may be going in a totally different direction.

i think like a week is long enough. i usually try and ship next day, but sometimes things come up or im just feeling lazy.

6 weeks is absurd. I would have gotten my money back after a week. You should let us know the sellers name. I sure as hell wouldnt want to give such a person my money.

I'm giving the guy the benefit of the doubt because he has a solid reputation as well as my money. I don't feel that this slow transaction will kill our future, but next time I believe I'll go about it in a different way. I understand that people get busy and things come up, but to say week after week that it will be shipped within days after we talk and it is not is very trying to my patience.

What this guy has done is called lying, and I don't give a fuc k who he is and how good his rep is, he is a piece of shi t for not getting your item to you in a reasonable time, and lying to you about it as well. Now that you are six weeks done, you cant dispute anymore IIRC, so he has you by the short and curlies. Good luck getting your item from the fuc king liar who stole your money
