Linear Power 5002. Bought new in 1989. Still works perfectly. Was only sent in at about 6 mos. old to get the IQ upgrade.

To use the same amp in your system for over 5 years to me, saves lots of money and most of all allows you to concentrate on other projects besides constantly buying and trading amps over and over believing that the one you get is better than the one you have. It's better to find a brand you believe in and stick with it. My hat goes off to you N2Audio, RFVega and others for believing in their products. Also not abusing your amps by not running them at low impedance loads helps. The 3 mtx amps I pulled from my suburban had been in there since it was new - 8 years.

Thunder 304, Thunder 302, and Thunder 152. I ran the 304 in 2 channel mode on my front doors, the 302 on my middle doors, and the 152 on the 4x6 plates in the wall for surround.

They are sitting here under my desk waiting for another project. . .

My Fiance has been using her Rockford Fosgate Punch 60.2, bridged @ 2ohm Since 1997. So 12 years and it's still going strong. Her MTX 275X has been going for about the same time.

Not only that but the system has been through three different vehicles since then.

This thread is very important because it proves that with consistency and confidence most car audio amplifiers will last if hooked up and installed properly. Even more interesting is that US made, Korean made, made in Taiwan, all these amps seem to be lasting. In time this can dispel the myth that only US made amps can stand the test of time.

Kicker zx 200.4 - 2.5 months (blew terminals out twice)

all in perfect working order and get played HARD on almost a daily basis.

not to old compared to some but considering how much i play these subs and amps and the fact that they are still running strong says alot IMO

MTX 342 had (2) sold one to my cousin and installed it in his Expo, sold the other to a friend of mine last year. Both were purchased in 2004, (one brand new, the other a refurb) and work perfect to this day.

I would still have most of the amps I used over the years, but things get sold/ traded for various reasons. Never really had one issue with an amp just dying on me, not even the cheaper stuff I owned.

Before that setup I was using a kicker zx1500.1, gave me a good 2 years before i sold it
