How long have you been using your amplifier make\model\time

In my 4-Runner I have an Lanzar Optidrive 1000.1 and Optidrive 100.4 that I put in 1 month ago and will never take out because they are both ZED amps. Prior to the switching back and forth I had a JL Audio 300.4 & 500.1 for about 5 years. Prior to that in my Civic I had Polk Audio components back and front hooked up to 2 Punch 75's and a RF AF 2 crossover from 1992-1999 until I sold the car. In my 300ZX I have a PPI PCX 2200 bridged mono to 2 10 inch BMF's and a PPI PCX 4400 to 2 sets of Crossfire BMF components. I should have stayed with old school stuff first so I would not have been wasting so much money using this korean/chinese made stuff. Well I learned.

Current

Alpine f600 about 2 months

powerbass 1500 also about 2 months(soon to be replace with alpine mrp-m1000)

before those amps

Kicker Kx200.2 about a year

Us amps xt2000d about 2 years

and before that

JL 1000/1 about a 4 months

arc 2500 cxl 10-11 years I had 6 I know all of them are currently in working codition still I have 2 installed right now with 4 channel arc for mids and highs. I may go to 2 ohms again, maybe.

In the van, been using the Tantrum 500.2 for five years...

Have had the monoblocks at home for four years...now I seem to go through preamps every couple months //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Old school Punch 200 DSM since 1999, currently in my brothers ranger

Punch 360.2 Power series since about 2002, currently in my car

Both amps have been running non stop and has never sat for more than a month without being used.

I had a pre-HD Punch 150 that I used from 1989 to 1999 in my various vehicles. I sold it to a friend in January 2000 and he has been using it since then. The amazing thing is that this amp has NEVER been repaired!

The only very rare maintance I have had to do to my 2 Punch 150's is change the internal & speaker fuses since 1989. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I would say that 1989 to 2009 is a pretty good track record, wouldn't you? Regardless, I want to see these Made in China/Korea/Taiwan/insert Asian country here amplifiers last 20 years without needing repair!

I have faithfully been running 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch 150's (3rd Gen from 1989, just before the HD's) since 1989 to now...20 yrs! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif
