How long do you play your system for at once?

I'm at the point to where unles it's at a 49-50+ it's honestly not that loud

loud to me is anywhere in the 50s. i just know anything daily 145 or over is pretty good considering its drivin alot.

I wouldn't want to...I was just commenting on what some of the other guys were saying. I'm probably just touching a 50 on music and after 3-4 songs I'm good

Agreed, I don't do more than a song or two unless someone I'm just trying to torture a passanger. There comes a point where it's just uncomfortable and I'd agree with the statement that if ppl can play full tilt for hours at a go, they are not loud yet.... or are on the fast train to permanent hearing damage.

naw, a 145 on music in a daily is not to bad at all. Anything over mid 150's daily is to much though. 140s is enough to annoy just about everyone around you while driving..any more then that and you should keep it down until your not around anyone or anything...or at show. When driving our truck the subs are almost never on. Once at a show though we beat the crap out of it the whole time..and every now and then go full tilt with it.

Dunno..I can play the truck all day with no or minimal issues..but I won't sit it in it all day.

i was talking about how long before it starts causing damage...but i mean it sounds like a majority of people on here are going to be deaf in 10 years so i guess hearing damage counts too lol

I had 2 18 xl's in my truck on a dc5k and I would play song after song couldn't get enough of it ivv played full tilt for about an hour........but I have perfect voltage and nothing would ever heat up

I have been doing this since the mid/late 90's or so, and I still have perfect hearing. Unless your my wife or daughter when they want something. Then I have extreme selective hearing.

Nope.. I wouldn't do that that's a stupid way of thinking I figure if I cant play it full tilt then its not worth it im a daily groundpounder I love giving demo's I give a fvck about tl numbers and all that jazz I just do it to be on the meter.
The day I can't go full tilt is the day I stop upgrading... Nuff said.

You obviously don't have a loud vehicle, so you can take it full tilt for hours on end. Like I said before, build something loud and that will change.

What makes you think I have a burp car? Burp cars ****, but they serve a purpose. I have a groundpounder built to play music very loudly. You just can't take it very long, some songs give me a headache in about 15 seconds and shows I demo a lot ears ring for a couple of days.

Surely your hearing would be on the way out? I know I'm not loud at all compared to 95% of you guys but anything more than 3 or 4 songs and my ears can't take it! I guess it's not the bass that does it to it's the mids and highs though.
