That box would work for the sub.*

*based on recommended specifications described on the JL audio website. This does not mean it will be good sounding or the correct size at all. Someone more expirienced with this exact subwoofer could tell you better.

That will sound very peaky, hollow, and it will not have any low end at all.

If the enclosure really is 1.48 cubic feet with 26 inches of port area that is 11 inches long, it's tuned around 50hz. That is beyond retarded. If it's closer to 2 cubic feet like the exterior dimensions suggest, it's tuned closer to 45hz which is also terrible for daily driving.

Don't buy it.

well, it's 5/8" MDF so i come out with about 1.35ft^3 after port and driver displacement, with a tuning of around 58Hz.
