As for 1 on 1, in each's prime, Jordan would have dominated Kobe, if by sheer size alone. Im not trying to take anything away from Kobe, he's amazing... but MJ was in a league of his own.

What exactly did the Bulls do the 2 years Jordan was gone? NOTHING. Pippen was overrated. Jordan came back & they steamed rolled to a 38-3 start, finished 72-10, & dominated the playoffs in route to winning the title.

Michael Jordan has 6 Finals MVP's. Kobe has 2.

MJ won 6 ....with Pippen, Rodman, & Grant

Shaq won 3 ....with Kobe.

Kobe won 2 with Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, Ron Artest.........

The reason Kobe gets compared to Jordan is he has the titles, heart/desire, pure scoring ability, & competitive nature of MJ.....

But these 2 fundamental aspects of the game are what seperate Michael Jordan from Kobe Bryant.....

defense & passing. do you realize how many times Jordan won the Defensive Player of the Year Award? Or that he is in the top 3-5 in assists ALLTIME for non-point guards? Kobe is nonexistent on defense & is a ballhog.
