If you were able bend the plexi, wouldn't that corner of the box also have to be curved? Why not use two seperate pieces and drill/screw/epoxy them together? Use something thick like 3/4 or even 1". If your using 1"mdf then go w/ 1".

Or, if your conserned about mounting the plexi, if your using 1" mdf, go with 1/4 or 3/8 plexi, router the edges and drill/screw it down that way. I'd sill go w/ 2 seperate pieces, and the thicker the plexi the better...as far as flexing is concerned.

That would work. Just use plexi adhesive and the joint will be almost invisiable. The thikness really depends on the power your talking about. And the actual size of the panels. 3/4", and 1" plexi is some pretty strong $hit. You realy don't need to go to those extremes unless your way up on the power scale. People use 1" plexi for windows in extreme cars. That's alot more pressure than your average joe is ever going to put on it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

not to mention freaking expensive out the ass. i was pricing 3/4" plexi a while back that stuff was like 400 bucks for a sheet and that's the only way you coudl get it.

In that case, the second option sounds a little better then.
