Hello newbie here... I currently have a pioneer GM-D8604, Amp that ive had in my 06 vette for only 2 weeks... I have it driving Polk DB6501 in my front stage, and its bridged to a new pioneer 12" down firing svc 4ohm sub. [ TS-SW3001S4 ].

I picked up a boston acoustic GT-42-4, and wonder how the new pioneer amp is to the boston amp, im thinking of putting in. Im sure its a no brainer question, Boston amp better, but need input as im out of touch on these new amps and if they really are CEA Compliant ..Friend said boston amp will blow it away..--- I seem to have to crank up bass boost to get sub to where i like.. Make sure you cool that Boston amp properly. A friend of mine had one of the GT series amps and it got hot as hell.
So are they known for that ??. Didnt seem to hot. ? , So, do they have a internal fan, as i was told they do and also told they dont..
