How good are kicker amps?

Hey guys. Im looking at buying a kicker impulse amp and a pioneer 12" sub with box for $300. i was wondering if this was a pretty good deal for the price and if kicker is a brand worth getting. I know at best buy and stuff they run for like 400 or 500 dollars but i wanted to hear what you guys thought about it from personal experience. Kicker amps aren't bad, but they also aren't the best. Looks like you're getting a decent deal so I wouldn't complain.

yea kicker amps are good bro...their usually underrated meaning if their listed at 400rms they get even more than that..

kicker amps are pretty efficient an built pretty well but but they will never be my first choice for an amp

There not bad I have a kicker kx300.2 it was used for a short time for my 3 tens which sounded really good.

kx versions are good. but the zx don't have the built in cooler and i really don't buy amps without some sort of internal fan to cool the components down. but lower wattage amps don't really need a cooler

I have a few Kicker ZR amps and an XS amp that seem to be a little better than the newer amps

i have a old impulse 352 in my wife's exterra. had it for like 10 years and is still going strong and sounds good
