How far away should my box be from my rear hatch?

Box is sub up/port back in an Expedition. How close should it be to the hatch?

It is really trial and error. Different people will tell you diff things.

Trial and Error. In my experience, further from the hatch typically sounds lower and better for music, closer to the hatch hits higher numbers...but if you get too close, you'll obviously restrict the port and start losing again.
