Just wondering. I've read that the placement has no literally no effect on the tuning (at least in car audio applications), but what about output? It must depend on the vehicle I'm guessing.
In general, however, will there be a noticeable loss if the port was in the back of the box while subs are in the front of the box? It'd be something like subs firing into cabin and port firing into cabin.
I think it would be insane to have a port firing into the cabin. Having all that air shoot out an all would effectively turn my volume knob into the AC control, ghetto //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif! Not that I would do it for that, just pondering.
