I have a kinetik hc2000 that i think might have a dead cell , how would i test for that ?
I was going to say it is a sealed agm battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif and I know you know better than that meter.Just try and charge it, then read the resting voltage afterwards.
My old mechanic instinct took over before I remembered those batteries are dry cells.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifI was going to say it is a sealed agm battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif and I know you know better than that meter.
Mine rests at mid 12.8's, when I left my interior lights on for a few hours it rested around 12.6 and took a charge off my 6 amp auto charger for about a half an hour.faulty ground maybe?
both alts are on the same ground? Also my stuff rests around 12.8v. I dont see harm in 12.5~.6v.
