dont pick her up in the gym.
it will not work, it will crush any chance you may have had, and you will most likely never get that ground back.

girls want to go to the gym to work out, and they usually are doing akward movements in skimpy/tight clothes and they feel vulnerable and dont want that to be exploited.

find a better location. *hint* - grocery stores. find a girl at the grocery store, they like guys who can cook. you dont actually know how to cook, but if you can be funny/charming you can make the situation work.

This seems good in theory, but how in hell are you suppose to approach girls in the grocery store?

or making casual jokes. have you never been able to strike up a conversation on your own? you could see her looking for something and sand next to her looking at the shelves, then whisper to her "what are we looking for?"

or ask her where something is, then continue with casual conversation ("i make a mean spaghetti and meatballs, you should come over and try them sometime")

No, I was actually picking up some arthritis pills for my mom and she goes you look a little young to be getting arthritis. I said na, they are for my mom cause her wrists are so bad.
