My history teacher in high school recieved a rolex after he retired from the air force. I told him I had bought a rolex. H aked me to bring it in and when I did he looked at it and told me it was a fake. He said "for one the crown should never move secondly a geniue rolex has a continous moving second meaning if the second hand ticks it isn't the real sh**". "Thirdly a rolex holds it's value very well so if it's under $800 that sh** is probably fake as heck. Like so many have posted buy it from a rolex dealer. All rolex watches have a serial number that idenifies the watch sort of like a birth certificate. So if your watch is stolen it can be traced and found if some one tries to sell it.
