well its not about stopping pre employement drug tests for the recreational smoker (as i understand it) or stopping the invasion of privacy. its really about letting the medical marijuana patients use it without worrying about reprecussions.

as it stands right now, you can still fire a medical marijuana patient regardless of a prescription.

if you dont feel like writing in, but you do smoke, then dont do it. but its about time some of you guys actually participated int he cause instead of just standin by idley

Even if I still smoked, I wouldn't sign this bill. I don't believe in telling a company how to choose it's employess outside of the big 3. Just as you want the right to smoke at home, they should have the right to run their company as they see fit.

Race, religion and *** are the only 3 that shouldn't be used to determine employment. I am even sketchy on religion being one of those as well. Race and *** you have no choice over. You have a choice to smoke weed or not at home. So they should have the right choose whether they want people working for them that smoke.

I used to be a chimney until I decided I liked gainful employment more. I still don't think I have the right to tell a company or the goverment that basing employment on that fact is BS.

Marijuana is a medicine who knows how many people need so bad they can't lead an everyday life. Now you're telling me an employer should beable to FIRE you based upon the fact you use ridelin to calm your ADD?

Sorry but I know too many professionals that smoke marijuana including cops, judges, lawyers, bankers, business owners, etc... and they seem to do just fine with their minds and their lives...It isn't speed balls man, it is less mood altering then booze...But to each their own...
