how do you determine the tuning port

wat im asking is i got 2 15'' re sx's,i want to build my own enclorsure out of 3/4 inch mdf,i know wat the subs call for in space,3.5 cubic feet which is no problem to figure,i was thinking of making the slot port in the middle of the box between the 2 subs,wat i dont understand how to figure out is how long should the slot port be.any help is greatly appreciated.

you could chamber them and use one slot port for each and build them right next to each other with a divider...i dunno if you got that or not....

As far as your question though...Tuning is dependant on enclosure volume, port area, and desired tuning.
