Yep that one will work. It is cheap and there's some truth to the saying: "You get what you pay for" is all I'm saying.

no i get it. if you were to buy a clamp tester and wanted a good one but cheep what would you get ??

I'd grab a non-Fluke clamp with a brand name on it from ebay. I grabbed the closest clamp to me to give an example of a name and it doesn't have a name on it...and it has never given me any problems... so maybe it's a cheapo too. Try the cheap one.
