How do yall protect your double din's??

Im about to get a double din hu, but I've been a little hesistant because of I can't just detach and remove the faceplate like I could a single din... Do any of you do anything to try and hide it? I'm just trying to find any way to help protect it from getting stolen if I get one.

insurance on the stereo that way if it is stolen you get a new one.

my scion tc has a radio cover door. some other toyotas like the avalon does too.
