I could see that but I still do it on every car. I don't see any harm in having an extra ground. I do unserstand that the battery acts as a meeting point for the chassis and engine ground but I figure the whole "path of least resistance" thing and just having having more spots in which grounds meet couldn't make it a "bad" thing so...redundant because 2 and 3 do that
