um.... i asked because his post was completely off topic. squeak, how many different installs have you heard the L7 in? i realize you may think they sound like ****, its pretty much opinion, but maybe you just havent heard it in the right install?

Well, that's it, I'm sold on the product simply because someone who works for the manufacturer said they sound amazing (and I can't imagine why he would say something like that).

I understand everyone else on this board kisses Kicker's a$$, but my opinion is my opinion and that isn't going to change because there is a Kicker cheerleader saying something different.

One 15" powered properly will be more than enough bass for anyone for most apps (mine is just as loud as a local guy's MTX RFL) but 2 12's would make a lot more "seat of the pants" feel. 3 L7's say nothing more than "I hate my hearing."

well, I know the abilites of many 'knowledgeable' installers, naming Gary Biggs, Mark Eldridge, just to name a few...following instructions for some, are hard...some it's quite easy.

Does it really matter what class. I mean, hey, last I knew most of the people on these forums were consumers and not world class professionals //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I would think the consumer division would matter more than the classes where all the equipment is handed to the competitor (who have more install/tuning skills than any two people combined on these forums).

And I don't really think Gary Biggs' or Mark Eldridge's competiton record really means anything to the average consumer. I mean, those guys are good enough you could hand them a 6 pack of Funky Pups and they could make them sound good.

SQ is very, very biased, I know, because I have been there for years while these two guys were competing, and I have helped them many times, and traveled thousands of miles with them in route.

While I agree, install is key, as I have preached many,many times....and your point of the Funky pups done right can sound great only validates my point even more. The L7 can do either SPL or SQ, and it's really not a far stretch in how to make them sound good. Mnay of our top comeptitors are doing the L7's in Consumer class as well, all the way through Expert.

One, it's really in the install, and two, really up to what the 'user' likes.

No way it would fit in the truck and i dont like 15' i rater have 10's or 12"
