How do the L7 sound

from what I have seen they have good SQ in large sealed boxes, but if you go ported, talk to Polecat and he can help you design a good sounding install, I mean they are not as clean as an IDMAX, but you can get them near

What's your purpose for these drivers? They'll get stupid loud, that's for sure.

As denim already said, you can get them to sound pretty clean ... just takes a different route box wise.

Where have you been for the last four years?

They have been out for a while, I sure someone in your town has a pair and won't mind letting you hear them. Most Kicker owns are very cocky and think their stuff is the loudest in town.

Sound like a wet fart IMO.....but whatever. A lot of other subs I would choose before a L7 for SQ/SQL purposes.

they will sound as good as your box lets them.irecomend 2 cubic feet sealed for SQ for a 12"

guess not everyone can follow installation manuals.....getting SQ out of them is quite easy...but anyone whom puts 1200-1500 watts on a woofer, and sticks it in a big ported box and say's it doesn't have great SQ, doesn't really want SQ, IMHO....wrong installation.

My 1.0 ported L78 with 400 watts sound flat amazing...

Well, that's it, I'm sold on the product simply because someone who works for the manufacturer said they sound amazing (and I can't imagine why he would say something like that).

I understand everyone else on this board kisses Kicker's a$$, but my opinion is my opinion and that isn't going to change because there is a Kicker cheerleader saying something different.

the amp im going to be runing is prob going to be the kicker kx1200.1 for all three intell later when i prob will get another to help power it all.

gunna be hard to run one amp to three dvc subs. you could get dvc 4 ohm and wire each woofer in series to get 8 ohms out of each, then paralell them together and get 2.6 ohms. the kicker does 1200 at 2 ohms right? so youd get most of the power out of it.

ya but i dont have the money for another one of thoughs amps i could always use my kx400.1 to help but its not going to do much
