they actually place more of a load on your electrical system, Not only will your alternator have to power your cars normal electrical system, the stereo system, and charge the cars battery, it also has to charge the cap. which = more electrical strain.

wot u meen hangs straight on the rear view mirror and this site is shit i didnt ask wot they were i asked how to install one so shut up and tell me a good answer i have a upgraded batery and altenater so it dosent put strain on my systems so shut up and just answer my question ok

if you have already upgraded the alt and battery why are you using a cap. That would be a bit of a downgrade

i got rid of mine too, but if u wanna install it connect the minus pole of the bat to the cap, then the positive pole of the bat to a resistor( the best thing is a car light bulb) and the bulb to the cap...the reason for this is when a cap is empy if u hook it up +----+,- ----- - u basicly make a short circut...when the the intensity of the light will decrease as the cap charges itself, when theres no more light its full, then connect the bats plus to the caps one and ure G2G

i would tie some 16 gauge wire to it

swing it around your head

and let go....

and then your job is complete

If you come to OUR site and ask a question don't get offended by OUR answer. We are just trying to help you out. You obviously are a total noob to car audio and should listen to these people's advice. And yes, forget the cap. they are a waste of time, and money.
