How do I wire it all up?

alright sweet, all i have to do now is pull the deck apart and hook up the rca cables and the ground and ill be set

i have a pioneer deck so yes its not what originally came with the car, and the ground i was going to wire to a piece of metal on the car

You can use a chassis bolt as I suggested earlier. Such as a anchor bolt for a seatbelt. And please don't run your ground wire to your taillights and ground there... The cable should be around 12in in length anyway. Remember to take away any paint or sealant, you want direct metal to metal contact. Also mount the amp in a non restrictive place. What i mean by that is well ventilated etc.

What do you mean heavier? Thicker? If it fits the amp the bigger the better

yes, i am running 4 ga, and 8 ga my question is will this be hard on my alternator and battery... not really wanting to replace those regularly

4 and 8 gauge? Your using both to run power to the amp? Use 4 gauge for power. Your electrical system will be fine. If your using 8 gauge I hope its for speaker wire...

well its 4 ga from the battery, then it goes to a little box, then from that box its 8 ga to the amp
