How would I wire 2 Sony 1200 watts subs to a Sony 2 channel 1200watt amp? After I do will it Bang???
He has about 3-4 other threads all related to one another.what kind of sony subs are they exactly? and you could've posted this in the other topic...
oh jesus... ok, since I'm almost posative that these a SVC (single voice coil), I'd reccomend a differant amp, these two are just a horrible match... sorry, but you need to get a mono amp rated no higher than 700 watts RMS @ 2 ohms, or a 2 channel amp rated at no more than 350 RMS X2 @4 ohms...It says 4 layer voice coil
that amp is not 2 ohm stable bridged... there's no way...yes + + and - - will give you a 2 ohm load if there single voice coils. Whats your amp rated at. will it handle 2 ohm load?
I've already done the same.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wowflash.gif.89a61f4caede63a11dac36e97d61323e.gif ok bud, those 2 guys are bashing you for asking stupid questions that can be answered if you would search and READ, and here I am telling you exactly what's going on, and why your amp doesn't power them as much as you think it should... AND NOW YOU TRY TO TELL ME THIS LIKE I'M DUMB....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif
OK, I've already looked at the stats for your amp and it WILL NOT hit the max RMS of those subs... ok?
I'm done trying to help you...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif
