how do i use this analog multimeter?

ok when calibrating the multimeter, i have it on Rx1, touch the two things together , but it dosent goto zero when moving the circle under ohm, it goes from a little over 10 to a little over 2 when moving the little circle (on the top green part graph that represents ohms)
