How do I test WATTS

whuts up people, need some help once again....how do I test the wattage my amp is pushin to my subs???

VERY CAREFULLY. There are some formula but there not very accurate what ype of amp do you have and whats the rms rating. The easy way is to get it bench tested.

\Bench testing requires these formulas....

P= V^2/R

Things to remember:

Voltage HAS to be TRMS.

Resistance HAS to be the woofers impedance at the frequency being played. Easiest to map out the impedance plot of the woofer and run a standard tone. (60hz)
