Ok this might be stupid, but my friend has 2 SVC 4 ohm subwoofers that have their separate chambers. Right now, they are wired each to a different terminal and are series wired to the 2 channel amp. I am wondering how do i make this a 2 ohm load? how can he get the wiring from one chamber to the other to parallel wire it, or can he do it after they are outside of the box? if this doesnt make sense, ill try to clear it up, but its hard to say. Thanks for the help

2 DVC 4 ohm subwoofers... ...2 channel amp... ...2 ohm load
here's your options:

option 1

option 2

but if it's a two channel amp he can do option 2 and bridge the amp. then each channel sees a 2 ohm load.

or he could wire each sub like this:

option 3:

1_4ohmDVC_2ohm.gif

and then wire each sub to a channel of the amp.

if you post what subs/amp it is, someone can be of further help.

no one understands my question, i know how to wire subwoofers but ive never had a two chamber two terminal box. do i just put both postive speaker wire into the + speaker on the amp and put both negative speaker wire into the - speaker on the amp?

Why would it change because its two terminals? You know how to wire subs, so you know the answer.

And yes, do what you stated in post #8 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
