How do I know when my subs are "broken in"?

It depends on the sub. My IDQs took about a week of normal back and forth to work listening. That was about somewhere around 35 hours......

when i got my type rs i didnt notice a significant differecne after about 15 hours of play time on and off. what i did was went to realm of excursion and got some tracks... find somthing that will put ure subs to full excursion and just let them play... thats all i did and mine sound as loud as they prolly ever will... just get them babys flexin good to loosen up that suspension
