How do I know when my subs are "broken in"?

Say if my subs are brand new and I am supposed to go through a breaking in process. What kind of signs am I supposed to look for to show when this process is done. I dont want to wrongly judge when this process is complete and damage my subs.

dont worrie about the break it. Just dont give them max power and crank them the first few min of use.

Just play them normally and not worry about break-in time...the suspension will loosen up during the course of normal play.

So when can I turn it all the way up? I want to but I think if I play it high for a long period of time this would be bad.

you can but I honeslty turn them almost all the way and let them play for a few hrs then give them the rest of the juice. But I know many people that just power them right up. I mean if you go to a install shop they dont set the gains 1/2 way then tell u to bring it back in a week so they can turn it up more.

normal use, in a few days you may notice a bump in output, but you may not. My Iridium had a noticeable gain in output after about 6 hours of listening at normal volumes. As long as your gains are right, you won't hurt them.
