How do I ground my HU?

I was told that if unplugging the RCAs from the back of my HU made the constant static go away, then the cause of the static is from the HU. I have already checked my amps grounds, they are on the frame on the outside of my truck in a heavily sanded spot (nothing but smooth metal they are touching). I tried a different (perhaps "higher quality") set of RCAs with no luck. I've been told to ground my remote wire and my HU, but I have no clue how to do either. This static is only audible when there is little sound playing (like when I've got it going max the music and bass obviously drown it out, but it's very annoying to have constant static). Usually on acoustic songs it's still pretty audible no matter what //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

You have a pioneer HU? That may be the source of your problem...

To ground the HU, simply find your ground wire, and replace it with preferably a thicker wire, grounded to the chassis with the metal scrapped off, just like you would your amps...
