How do i connect my amp and subs to my factory deck?

Yes like he said, line output converter, to convert the speaker outputs to voltage the amp can accept through RCA 's. Amps like kicker, alpine and JBL will accept speaker level and have a LOC built in some have a special harness to connect the wires from the HU

Either brand make decent speakers. I like Polks more, infinity my second choice , Hertz, and JBL for mainstream speakers for the $

the AVIC was a tad more complicated to wire not to mention stuffing it in a smallish stereo hole. thanks for advice.

I agree; it doesn't. :) See my comment above on Tuesday at 4:08 pm; in short, I'll use the auxiliary port on the FM transmitter.
