I'm still a big newb at this whole box building stuff. So I finally figured out how to build a box to spec based upon a particular sub.
The sub in question here is a P3SD410 shallow 10. Mounting Depth is 3.5 inches...and recommended sealed enclosure is from .4 - 1.0 cu ft.
So according to my calculations, a single box using 3/4 mdf would have external dimensions of 17x21.5x7...this would yield .99 cuft.
So how do I now account for two subs? I want to build a box that will still yield the proper amount of cuft of .99 per sub...so how is this calculation done?
Oh...and I should mention that I'm building a false floor, so the depth of the box is most important to me here...I'm trying to lose the LEAST amount of space as possible.
