I asked this befre but got no replys. 02 Jeep wrangler. I've been considering putting some comps in the rear soundbar since they are about 8 - 10 inches from head and drown out everything from the front. Any ideas on whether this is a good idea?

As I said in your other thread.....IMHO it'd be better if you put components in front, co-axials (at most) in your rear, and then fade to the front so that they rear speakers aren't drowing out the fronts.

agreed! you don't want to ruin the front stage!

Ok squeek and jellyfish. I hear ya. I bet I will have to fade the rears down to almost zero b/c they are so close to my head and that's what has been worrying me. I think I will take your advice though and at least give it a shot.

A jeep is far from teh perfect place to build a good sounding system but I just wanna do teh best I can with it.

Sorry i missed teh earlyier post from you squeek. It got pushed down off teh baord and I figured nobody responded.
