how do 13w7's sound sealed?

Looking at some opinions everyone says to go ported... but I'm kind of sick of my ported setup right now and am ready to go back sealed. Your thoughts?

I've never considered a W7 before but my room mate just got a 12w7 for $350 including tax at a shop his friend owns. So, assuming I am able to get a good deal on the 13 I'm going to go for it.

I have a ported 13w7 and I am debating going sealed as well. Ported sounds great, but I love the sound of sealed woofers.

Have you heard ported? Can you compare? How much power? Is it worth going sealed with only 1200wrms for a 13?

ONLY 1200? I'd say that's plenty unless you are going for loudness (in which case you would not want sealed).

agreed, it put my old 12w6v2 to shame. i have it runing at .75 on my orion 1200D. i would like to see how it compairs to my 15RL-p later when the weather is nice again.

thats cuz you're south of the equator...you guys have to wire them out of phase down there to get them to sound good
