How did you guys install your cold cathode lights?

First of all, get rid of everything from the supplied switch on up to the molex connector (the funny 4-hole connector) and use only the red and black wires that come out of the inverter. This is mearly to clean things up and keep things simple. If you have a power distribution block that supplies your amp with power, then use a lead off of that as your +12v into a switch and to the red wire comming out of the CCFL's inverter. Simple attach the black wire to any ground other than what grounding spot your amp uses. If you ground the inverter too close to where the amp is grounded it will introduce unwanted noise into your stereo. From there its all purdy dang basic. I'd probubly put the switch for the CCFL somewhere near where your box is so that you can just flip it on when you open your trunk or hatch. I have lots of neon lighting in my car and have 6 switches dedicated to different areas of lighting. I'm gonna be changing the switching network soon as it will all be computer controlled. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
