How Can I Test My Internet Connection speed?

I got this new internet. Dijis sattelite internet. Its slow shit. Not as bad as dial up but its definetely not 100.0 mbps which thats what my local area connection says.
Anyone know a good place to test my speed, or possibly know what could be wrong?

no, like what program are you using to download torrents? uTorrent? bitlord? but you mentioned limewire, which isn't a torrent client..

and that link you gave me said

1196 kbs download and 571upload

If thats the case then how come when I download things they download at 6kbs per second?

hell i can beat that on my wireless laptop with 54.0mbps connection

when DL'ing set your max upload to 60k in your client that way you wont bounce off your cap which can slow down your DL speeds

your max DL speeds are going to be around 150k on that connection

but as stated it depends on your source, just because there are alot of seeders doesnt mean it will be fast if they are all UL at 1k
