That's weird, don't the above 2 mentioned companies offer 300+ amp alts? So then their fake and will have problems?

DC will build one but they will also tell you a 275 will be way better and does about 290 at highway speeds anyways. But if I recal correctly Robbie at DC told me a 300amp alt is all a hyped up word.. Even Ohio Gen will tell you the samething. When I told Robbie to do a 300amp he said na thats not worth it and there would be more problems down the road anyways since you can only make a 3G Ford case so big it would be like stuffing a 4" coil into a 3" coil gap. And something with the diodes in it.. Get on the SMD forum and ask about it on DC's forum. By the way, good choice on the Mechamn, they are solid company and Mathew is a real good guy
