Led Wires? Which one is positive

This is really stupid but the writing will be on the positive wire correct and not the negative wire? I bought a led bar from oznium and im still working on which is positive. Whats yalls thoughts?

Wait..Isnt an LED a light emitting DIODE? Doesnt a Diode prevent or condition electricity from "switching" Directions? Only way I could see that working is a higher Voltage then the recomended. I may be wrong though.

if it is LED, i am pretty sure the longer one is positive?

you can order them with the anode longer or shorter I thought. depending on how you want the LED to work. get 2 AAs and hook them up in series. touch the leads. one way will work, one way won't.

if the led lights up backwards, I believe you are overloading it by quite a bit. LEDs usually don't work at 12v either, more like 3.3 or something.
