Current Setup
Yes, Walmart subs, don't laugh. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
Anyways that is my current setup and I have two amplifiers powering the two subs, one amp per sub. A 200w MTX Roadthunder rt2100x powering one and a 450w Lightning audio amplifier handling the other one. Not the perfect setup but Ive been operating on a budget, hence the walmart subs.
Anyways I would love to speculate.... If I could possibly fit a any two bigger(12", 15") subs back there.(After I get rid of the two Sony Xplodes, and the two amplifiers). I would of course get a new amplifier(s) but what is the possibility of building a box that could house 2 or 2+ 12" and still have enough air to not suffocate the subs and of course get some heart thumping bass. I have no been disappointed by the Sony Xplodes I had purchased and surprisingly enough they have not busted yet.
Or could I go smaller and more quantity with 5-6 8"s or possibly do a combo or 8"'s and 10"'s.
By the way, a friend of mine is planning to order two Kicker 12" CompVR's dual 4-ohm and was wondering how well his current amplifier would do in powering them.
Any tips? Hints? Recommendations? Are always welcomed.
