how bad is it for your amps when you...

vibration can do damage to amps. i have a friend that broke his amp from vibration. mmats has a big warning about vibrations. my last amp would go into protect if the box was touching it. use rubber to help.

lol....well the reason im asking is today driving around i saw a cop so i turned my music all the way down then when i ot back in the car the 4ch didnt work and didnt have the power light on only the sub amp was on. im hoping that maybe it got hott and blew the fuse (in the distribution block) ...im hoping!!! the amp is part way under the sub box since i just threw the box in. get what im saying?
Wait, so the amp was literally UNDER your sub box, with the sub box sitting on top of it?

wow, you take care of your equipment quite well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I mount mine as close to at LEAST 3 sides as i can. IE...less shaking. I saw a guy with no bracing at all on a box that was 36" x 24" and his amp in the middle of it, and kept breaking at random intervals.

Im more than certain they state reasons on sites like bcae1.com and such. Its not good, really. We all do it at some point tho.
