Loud enough. you can hearmy dog barking in the video from it on 12/62 volumeHow loud can one blown up woofer really get?
Why not take it out and look at it?
I remember the first time I though I blew a sub, it was an Eclipse Titanium.. took it out and to my suprise the cone was seperated from the motor, someone from the factory forgot to tighten it lol.
no dmm. and hopefully getting sub reconed or fixed.Yeah its toast. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
What you should ask yourself is:
Is the cone seized?
Does it read out on a DMM?
and
When will I get a new sub?
thanks a bunch. pmed back for more infoCheck your PM's.
Ouch, the dreaded voice coil scratch... that happened with one of my old Kickers and about a day later they completely took a sh!t. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.giftook it out. i see no damage but hear the scratch when i push it in.
Only one way to test for sure, cut the end off an extension cord and use pos and negative on subwoofer - when smoke pours out or it catches on fire you know its fvcked.
that has got to be the funniest thing you've ever saidcoil is definetly the problem so your fix is a recone. either send it in to get reconned or u can do it yourself but by the sounds of things u wouldnt even know where to start so send it in to get reconed or sell the motor to someone that will use it. and buy another sub that doesnt **** too bad
