and wants to trade straight up for my amp. is that a good deal? are the subs decent? i wanted a set of diamond D6 10's or treos. but will these be ok? ill be pushing them with another Hifonics Brutus 1500D amp if i do trade him

in general. they make some strong amps... which like to break very easily and take 16v to get close to rated power.

not many people have even seen a 3000.1 much less tried it at 16 volts

but the HK boards have been around for 5+ years now, alot of people have seen what they can do. .... and not do.

ok, well im sure you and Jman have seen a few amps, so which would you choose.

Sorry, not trying to hijack, just trying to clarify if the whole company is sht, or just certain things, kinda like Alpine, Hifonics, etc. A lot of companies do some things better then others. sony

you still be better off with a kicker 2500 that does 2.5K+ at 14v.

Some birthsheets show as high as 2.9K

I've seen a massive 3000.1 in action on 6 CW 15's. It was nasty loud. He seemed to like it okay.

I've just seen way too many broken HK4000's.
