How are these subs wired??

Another question while im here, does the carpet on the box matter for anything besides looks? Cuz im about to just rip it all of its getting torn around the port and the sub holes as you can see.

I know these pics are confusing. I could take a video but i believe the subs are wired 2 ohm. The person i bought them from told me "dual 4's wired paralled to 2 ohm". But other people have told me they are 1 ohm.

You cant make dual 4s wire to 2 ohms, unless you used 1 coil from each but thats not whats done. If in fact they are dual 4s, they are wired in parallel to 1 ohm. Each coil is wired independently and they are joined in that goofy 5 way cluster. Make sure you don't cross + and - when wiring to the amp, as both wires are blue and be easily confused.

I didnt wire these but the + wire says the brand name on it while the - does not. Also audioque only make dual 4's for the sdc i believe so then it must be 1 ohm ?

DMM would tell you in a second and yes the SDC's are only D4, so if you're wired in parallel then it should be a 1ohm final load.

Just cut the carpet away from the port opening and reglue it, same with the speaker cut outs, just reglue it...
