How are these RE8" Box dimensions?

For a simple first setup, was thinking of mounting a RE8 from my trunk, facing out into the main cabin. Being that i've been hearing a lot of complaints regarding how tightly sealed the trunks of the BMW are.

Something like this....

I got a 1cuft enclosure planned, it's 12" wide, 16" long, 9-10" deep.

With a Port Opening 1" wide by 8" long and the vent length(according to loudspeaker101.com) of 26.75"

Was wondering if you think this guys would work and how will it sound?

ALSO what amp would be best to give it 200w? Something atleast under 150$.

Ive heard that facing a sub into the cabin like that isnt good. Second, a 1cube box is too big for one RE8. They only need .50cubes and a tuning of 30-35Hz. And check your port tuning with this caculator (the RE8's "acoustic power" is .17 BTW) http://www.linearteam.dk/default.aspx?pageid=ventcalculator And last for an amp, one of these babies dosent need a lot of power I recomeend 100-135watts, check the For Sale sections of these car audio forums. You can usually find a pretty good deal like I have in the past...
