Hot Glue question..

I am going to start my door panels this weekend (just have the panels truck is still getting painted) it's the hard blastic chevy pannel. I was wondering if the hot glue (the one with the stick that the gun melts and comes out yellow) if that would be strong enough to hold a piece of wood with 2 8" on it shaped with fiberglass. What do you guys think?

u guys are retarded. first off are you just asking if the rings would fall after you stretched the fleece or whatever material ur using???? I have had great results with hot glue gun and fiberglassing. I say do it.

i am definetly gonna cut my rings, get it at the angle i want it. hot glue all that together. Stretch my fiberglass matting over it. The apply the resin. Let it dry then another layer. then do the cuts for the pods in my pannel using hot glue and 4 screws at each corner to bind it to the door then recover my door with new black leather. What do you guys think?

if your useing fibreglass as the strength then yes, but the hot glue wont hold for long without the fg.
