Hoping not to blow an amp, help

I have a 4 gauge wire kit in my car, going to hook my two 15in' kicker comps to my friend's 1500 watt amp, i think it's boston acoustic, anyway, i'm going to keep everything off until i wire the bat, rem, ground, etc...

anything i should be aware of so i don't **** something up?

Might wanna upgrade to 0 gauge with that power (only if its 1500 rms)

u will be fine with 4 gauge.

Fuses, I keep it all out until i know everything is 100%. Also, disconnect the negative battery cable. All obvious stuff you prolly already know.

wat amp what ohmage subs how u wiring the subs etc etc
