hooking up a ppi amp

I have a ppi dcx 1000.1 amp, i have 2 l7 15 inch kickers wired to 1 ohm,. When i turn up the volume too high, it turns off and on . How do i hook up this amp??

What voice coils are your subs,dual 4s or 2s?

Double check ALL YOUR WIRING... check ohms of the subs

Here you go...check this out. It should help ya. Also...you use only one channel for both subs, doesnt matter which channel but use only ONE channel. I hope this will help you.

If your picture is correct then you are hooking them up wrong. The positives are next to each other on the amp as well as the grounds.

You may need to go through all your wires again to verify connection.

Also do you have the electrical to support your amp running at the impedance? You may be clipping.

Idk if im using the power and ground inputs correct.. how do i connect them right?.wen i higher the epicenter knob, its starts turnning off and on, and the red light on my amp turns on, the clip out . does anyone have a diagram of how to connect this amp to a epicenter and my speakers?

Are you using both power and ground connectors? You really should read the manual. It should be pretty descriptive on what ohm load this amp can take, connections and power requirements. Make sure you read the section that talks about the AP-IV protection circuits. It would also help to know what electrical you are running. Batteries and what kind of vehicle. It could be wiring, lack of power or amp cooling plenums are blocked.
