hooking up 2 amps to 2 subs

use splitters on the RCA's, unless the amps have a pass through set of RCAs (input and output) get a distro block for the power cable, or run a completely seperate cable to the battery, if the one you have now isn't really thick enough. Remote wire can just be "piggy backed" from one amp to the other, and just ground the second amp to the same point as the first one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
This will okay so long as there aren't several accessories being fed off of the head unit's remote activation output. I do not know if there is an ironclad rule as to how many you can safely run but bear in mind that the remote accessory activation output on your head unit has an output voltage measured in milliamps. My personal rule is that if you're going to have three or more items being turned on/off by the head unit then incorporate a SPST relay into the circuit to keep the strain off of that circuit in your HU. The reasoning behind this is from when I watched a buddy of mine some years ago burn the remote output out of his deck when hooking up three amplifiers to it. While it is true that today's HUs have come a long way from the late 80s/early 90s but relays are a heckuva lot cheaper than a HU repair that could have been easily avoided. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
